The Avengers, from Marvel, are loved by millions worldwide. They started in a comic book called “The Avengers” #1 in 1963. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created them. This team brought together Earth’s strongest heroes to fight big threats. Nick Fury from S.H.I.E.L.D. came up with the Avengers Initiative. Tony Stark announced he was Iron Man, which kicked off the idea.
Nick Fury from S.H.I.E.L.D. started the Avengers Initiative. He talked to Tony Stark after he beat Obadiah Stane and told everyone he was Iron Man. Fury watched potential members like Bruce Banner, who turns into the Hulk, and Thor, who’s from Asgard. Fury also found Steve Rogers, known as Captain America, who was found alive after disappearing in World War II. Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) and Hawkeye (Clint Barton) impressed Fury too.
Loki, a tricky god, came to Earth and stole the powerful Tesseract. He controlled Hawkeye and fought the Avengers. Fury brought together Romanoff, Banner, Rogers, and Stark to stop Loki. Captain America and Iron Man caught Loki, but Thor showed up. Thor wanted to take Loki back to Asgard, but they all went to S.H.I.E.L.D. instead.
